Creamy Banana Milkshake Dairy Free

Fancy a creamy sweet banana milkshake? No need to travel to a bar for one of these, this recipe is quick and easy to make, and its so delicious you’ll not want to try bought milkshake again! As its made with nut milk, its suitable for vegans and those with dairy intolerance.

You do need to be organised and freeze very ripe bananas the night before, chop them into one inch chunks.

Ingredients
6 Pitted dates
2 Cups of frozen banana
1 Tablespoon vanilla essence or slightly less of extract
4 Cups of homemade almond milk – made using a Baking Time Nut Milk Bag, for the almond milk recipe see here.

Put all of the ingredients into a blender in the order listed. Slowly turn blender to highest speed and run for 30 seconds or until the dates have been processes. Do not blender for too long, or the milkshake will heat up. It should be think, cool and creamy. Deeeeelicous. Just make sure you’ve got some more almond nuts ready to soak so you can make some more nut milkshakes!
