The third Sunday of June is getting closer and closer meaning that in the UK, Father’s Day is nearly here! For many people, it can be difficult to know what to get for their dad, with the words “don’t get me anything, there’s nothing I want” ringing around many houses this time of year. Therefore, here at Baking Time Club we have put together a list of 5 simple bakes that will guarantee to make your dad happy this Father’s Day
Lawn Mower Cupcakes

First up on our UK Father’s Day special we have these super simple and easy to make lawn mower cupcakes, which are perfect for any dad who’s proud of his gardening abilities! These cupcakes can be made with any kind of flavouring that your dad may prefer as well as being topped with ‘green grass’ icing and a chocolate lawn mower for the final touches.
Snickers Cheesecake Loaf

Secondly, we have the most indulgent bake on this list; the Snickers Cheesecake Loaf! This delicious recipe is sure to leave your dad feeling stuffed this Father’s Day with its chocolatey rich flavours. It is comprised of a biscuit base topped with a Snickers filled cheesecake, finally topped off with a fudge layer. This recipe can be made in 2 hours and will serve around 10.
Vegan Guinness Chocolate Cake with Irish Cream Frosting

Next, we have a vegan bake based around a dad favourite, Guinness! Although Guinness isn’t technically vegan, there are vegan alternatives such as Foreign Extra Guinness which can be bought online and offers stronger flavours which makes it perfect for baking. This recipe offers some great boozy flavours, making it a great treat for your dad this Father’s Day.

This cake is comprised of different layers of dairy free ice cream as well as gluten and dairy free cream on top. This cake is also great for this time of year as the weather is getting warmer and people are reaching for the ice cream tub more and more.
