6 Festive Yule Logs To Try This Christmas
With less than a month to go before Christmas, we here at Baking Time Club are getting very excited about the big day on the 25th December. Nothing gets us as excited as Christmas food however. From Christmas pudding, pigs in blankets and mince pies, the month of December is really like none other when it comes to food, so we thought it was only right that we put together a series of Christmas food blogs.
This week’s blog is centred around some different variations of the Christmas favourite; the Yule Log. The Yule Log dates back to pre-medieval times from the Winter solstice festivals in Scandinavia. It started as an actual tree that was brought into the house during festive periods however in more recent times, it has been turned into a Christmas dessert and is extremely popular across the world.
